Meet Mischa

Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW, PMH-C

There are a few moments in your life that live in your memory, heart, and soul forever. Like your first kiss, your wedding day, your child’s first day of school, and the day of your child’s birth. The experience of childbirth is supposed to be positive and full of joy, but for some it is exactly the opposite. You prepared for baby, read books, bought the gear, and cautiously listened to advice. Instead, you’re so tired, feeling isolated, lonely, scared, and worried most of the time. You feel like you will never be yourself again and you’re not sure what to do to help yourself feel better and things you have tried aren’t helping.

Now imagine feeling better, less anxious, more confident in yourself and your decisions. Feeling like you could check items off your to-do list, take time for yourself and not feel guilty or ashamed but supported, and feel pride and confidence in knowing you’re a good mom. To get here you need a safe and secure place to talk about how you’re feeling.

That first step toward getting help may feel overwhelming. It can be difficult to find the time for one more thing. I have a flexible schedule, with evening and weekend appointments. You can download intake documents and complete on any mobile device. Call for your free consultation. I look forward to hearing from you.
